Q: When does visitation occur for a Richmond City Justice City (RCJC) resident?
A: Seven days a week between 9:00am – 6:00pm
Q: How often can a RCJC resident have visits?
A: One visit every seven days. Out of state visitors (anyone located more than 100 miles from RCJC) may visit once per month based on a written request by the resident. Visit must be approved/scheduled by administration prior to.
Q: How many visitors can a RCJC resident have at one time?
A: Four (4) - children included within count
Q: When does attorney visitation occur for RCJC residents?
A: Residents have full access to attorneys.
Q: Is there a dress code to follow when visiting a resident at RCJC?
A: Yes. Leggings, jeggings, sheer and revealing clothing, profane words or imaging on clothing ARE NOT allowed. Skirts must be knee length when seated.
Q: Is food/drink allowed within the visitation area?
A: No. It is allowed within our lobby area.
Q: Is pen/paper allowed within the visitation area?
Q: Are car seats and/or strollers allowed within the visitation area?
A: No. There is a designated area to store them.
Q: Are cellphones allowed within the visitation area?
A: No. A locker is available to store personal items. There is a refundable $.25 required.
